Jamie Lackey

Jamie was born and raised in Huntington Beach, CA. She met her husband, Russ, at Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA. They have been married since 2001 and have three daughters.

By trade Jamie is an elementary school teacher. Since moving from California to Iowa in 2012, she retired from the classroom and volunteers on the PTA at her children’s school. Jamie also serves as the Fellowship Coordinator at Luther Memorial Church in Des Moines where her husband is the current senior pastor.

Jamie reentered the workforce in 2015 and served as an office manager and bookkeeper for a local consulting company. She spent three years there before taking a position with The Moses Project. Jamie is excited to be a part of The Moses Project as it merges her excitement for planning and organizing with her respect of ministry and those who serve in it. 

When not working, Jamie enjoys reading fiction, listening to many genres of music, baking, mastering puzzles and watching movies.
