In darkness and in light, in trouble and in joy, help us, Gracious God, to trust your love, to serve your purpose, and to praise your name, Amen.

Rejoicing with those who rejoice and weeping with those who weep, we offer the following prayers:
God of provision, bless those who are suffering financially because of unemployment.
We pray for the small group ministry to be built up in order for stronger ties to occur.
God of the nations, continue to watch over our divided nation. Wear us out from fighting with each other so that we would become so tired of battle that we would seek peace.
We pray for all those who are affected by this pandemic. Keep them all close to your heart.
