from Allen Organ
As you may or may not know, Allen is celebrating their 50th Anniversary this year of introducing the very first digital organ to the world in 1971. With this celebration, Allen has made some very profound upgrades to their instruments, especially those that were ordered around the time your order was placed, to commemorate this important milestone in the organ industry.
Unfortunately, the factory has fallen a little behind with completion dates. Why so behind you ask? Because……good fortune has it, your instrument was selected to receive some rather substantial upgrades, which is, of course, at no cost to you. These upgrades include (250x) greater memory capability within the tone generation system of the instrument. In fact, one of the on-board stop-lists, the Aeolian-Skinner will have completely NEW pipe organ samples that are phenomenal. In addition, AOC has added a couple of more stops to the overall stop list, which will make your tonal options even more versatile. With these exciting upgrades, of course, comes added factory time and final testing before leaving Macungie.
So, rather than setting a date, AGAIN, I would like simply to call you when the instrument is leaving the factory, at which point we can accurately determine its arrival in Mpls and from there, set a delivery/install date that is convenient for you all. We know how excited you are to get your new instrument, and we are grateful for your patience and understanding. We, too, are excited and are pleased to be able to tell you WHY it is delayed and for such a positive reason. We assure you that it will be well worth the wait! I look forward to communicating with you soon as we venture through this together.
